🚴‍♀️ About the Role

Bicycle Health is on a mission to close the treatment gap for those living with opioid use disorder (OUD). As a Financial Coordinator, you’ll play a crucial part in that mission—supporting patients through the financial side of their recovery. You’ll help them navigate billing, insurance, and payments, ensuring both access to care and program sustainability.


🛠️ What You’ll Do

  • Guide patients through insurance coverage, payments, and subscription renewals
  • Resolve billing questions and recommend payment options when needed
  • Keep financial records up-to-date, including insurance and demographic information
  • Review patient balances and proactively follow up to support timely payment
  • Communicate patient financial info to care teams as needed
  • Master tools like Athena, Kareo, Bitrix, FreshWorks, and G-Suite to complete daily work
  • Maintain accurate logs, reply promptly to patient messages, and support care quality
  • Propose process improvements that help us better serve our patients

👀 What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years in customer service or healthcare support roles
  • Experience with insurance plans and patient financial responsibility terms (co-pays, deductibles, etc.)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiar with Google Suite and comfortable using Mac/Apple devices
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Adaptable, action-oriented, and team-driven
  • Able to work from a private, professional home setup with strong internet access
