📌 About the Role
Transcarent is looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to join their HR and Total Rewards team. In this remote role, you’ll help process payroll accurately and on time, manage sensitive data, and serve as a key point of contact for employee payroll questions. This is a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and is passionate about getting the details right.
🧰 What You’ll Do
Payroll Operations
- Input, audit, and verify payroll data to ensure timely and accurate processing
- Coordinate with the payroll manager to resolve discrepancies
- Maintain payroll records and ensure timesheet compliance
- Assist with updates related to benefits, tax withholdings, and compensation changes
Compliance & Reporting
- Prepare payroll reports for internal stakeholders and audits
- Support year-end tasks like W-2 reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with wage and tax laws at all levels
Employee Support
- Respond to payroll questions from employees
- Help staff set up direct deposit and update payroll info
- Communicate policy updates and payroll-related changes
✅ What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree (Finance or Accounting preferred)
- 1–3 years of payroll experience
- Excel proficiency (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now or Workday (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Clear verbal and written communication
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Adaptability in fast-changing environments
