In this role, you’ll be responsible for investigating unapplied funds, resolving overpayments, and handling budget billing inquiries with professionalism and top-tier customer service. 📋 What You’ll Own
• Research and resolve issues related to unapplied payments and overpayments
• Communicate with customers regarding billing discrepancies and budget billing plans
• Respond to inbound and outbound payment-related inquiries
• Coordinate customer correspondence and documentation requests
• Use internal tools like the budget bill calculator for account reconciliation
• Document and troubleshoot issues efficiently for resolution
• Collaborate with internal teams for streamlined AR support
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• 1+ year of AR or related finance experience
• Strong communication and customer interaction skills
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
• Salesforce or PeopleSoft experience is a plus
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
