CareCentrix is hiring a Revenue Cycle Representative (Reconsiderations) to research claim denials, determine payer responsibility, and ensure accurate reimbursement. This role requires a strong foundation in medical claims, billing codes, and denial resolution—and is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-driven, healthcare finance environment.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Investigate payer denials and rejected claims
• Confirm patient eligibility, plan status, and documentation
• Review EOBs/EOPs for accuracy and reimbursement
• Resolve rejected invoices and prepare payer corrections or appeals
• Provide detailed itemizations and documentation to payers
• Track and monitor invoice status using Microsoft tools
• Communicate with providers, patients, and internal teams to gather required documentation
• Recommend process improvements and assist in training peers
• Collaborate on spreadsheet reconciliation and payer-specific cases
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in medical claims, billing, or reimbursement
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, HCPC coding
• Familiarity with HIPAA, collection procedures, and billing platforms
• Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Access, etc.)
• Analytical mindset, time management, and strong communication skills
• Knowledge of Utilization Management and URAC standards a plus
