🧾 About the Role
Equip Health is a fully remote, mission-driven company redefining access to eating disorder treatment through evidence-based virtual care. As a Charge Entry Specialist, you’ll play a key role in their finance team—reviewing clinical data, entering charges, and helping ensure accurate, timely submissions that support patient access to care.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Review EMR reports (Maud) to validate billable services
• Enter charges into billing system (AdvancedMD)
• Collaborate with clinical/admin teams to resolve discrepancies
• Audit charges, correct errors, and flag potential issues
• Support special projects and billing audits
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and data security protocols
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 1+ year experience in charge entry, billing, or healthcare admin
• High school diploma or GED
• Familiarity with CPT coding and claim workflows
• Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)
• Detail-oriented, fast and accurate data entry
• Organized, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Behavioral health billing experience is a plus
