At Candid Health, we’re rethinking medical billing from the ground up. As a Customer Support Specialist, you’ll help healthcare providers navigate our platform and resolve billing-related issues with clarity and care. You’ll be part of a lean, growing team with a direct impact on how we scale, support, and streamline operations. ✅ Position Highlights
• $70,000 – $125,000/year (based on experience and market location)
• Full-time, remote (U.S.-based only)
• Equity included as part of total compensation
• Work-from-home flexibility unless near offices in NYC, SF, or Denver (on-site 4x/week for locals)
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Billing
• Help shape the foundation of a growing support team
📋 What You’ll Own
• Provide fast, accurate, Level 1 support for billing, claims, product bugs, and feature requests
• Meet designated SLA standards while maintaining an empathetic, clear tone
• Collaborate with internal teams to solve escalated issues
• Create SOPs, macros, and Help Center content to scale support operations
• Identify gaps in current workflows and propose systems-level improvements
• Champion customer pain points to influence product and operational decisions
• Drive support team documentation, efficiency, and quality improvements
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 3–6 years in healthtech support or customer-facing healthcare SaaS roles
• Familiarity with insurance claims processing workflows (even if not directly processing them)
• Exceptional written communication and organizational skills
• Problem-solver who thrives without strict SOPs and can forge new paths
• Able to balance competing priorities with clarity and urgency
• Detail-oriented and security-conscious
• Bias toward action with strong collaboration instincts
• Operates with empathy, professionalism, and customer-first thinking
💻 Remote Requirements
• Reliable internet and dedicated workspace
• If located near NYC, SF, or Denver, in-office presence 4x/week required
