Workit Health is hiring a Credentialing Specialist to support our growing team of licensed clinicians and ensure seamless onboarding with payers and partner networks. This role ensures provider information is accurate, up-to-date, and fully compliant—helping us deliver judgment-free, evidence-based care to those navigating substance use recovery.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Serve as the primary liaison between Workit Health and third-party payers
• Manage and track work performed by credentialing vendors
• Process and verify provider applications and clinic licensing information
• Maintain accuracy in payer directories and credentialing databases (e.g., CAQH)
• Collaborate with billing to resolve authorization or denial issues
• Handle revalidations for government payers and ensure policy adherence
• Deliver timely, precise updates on credentialing status to stakeholders
• Ensure HIPAA compliance in all credentialing activities
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 2–3 years of experience in billing and credentialing
• Strong familiarity with payer portals and CAQH systems
• Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Comfortable with remote collaboration tools (Slack, email, online systems)
• Strong grasp of HIPAA standards and credentialing best practices
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Stable, high-speed internet connection
